A private email and AI assistant operated by Yılmaz Bakay for his own accounts.

What this installation does

Odysseus brings the operator’s email accounts into one interface. It supports reading and searching messages, viewing attachments, organizing mail, composing replies, and sending email. AI features can help summarize messages and prepare drafts.

Why it connects to Google

The operator authorizes access to his Gmail accounts using Google OAuth. The connection requests access to the account’s email address and mail. Odysseus uses Gmail’s IMAP and SMTP interfaces, which require the full mail permission, including the ability to read, send, modify, and delete messages.

This installation is for the operator’s personal use. Account connections and mail features are available through the private application. This website provides information about that installation.

Data and privacy

Mail data and credentials are handled by the private installation. When AI features use a remote model, relevant message content and instructions can be sent to the configured model provider. Read the privacy policy for details about access, storage, sharing, and removal.
